Who is ajeeb???

The first time I noticed him, was when a colleague of mine pointed me out to him, saying dat he was a bit ajeeb.
Now, when this comment is passed for someone, it is but obvious that a curiosity is built around that character.
So, I did observe him.
Had heard this comment about him from a few other colleagues too - there is something wrong with him and all...

But, I do not feel so...

This guy was just to himself. He would just mind his own business. No gossip, no talk out of the topic, no tell-tales,...just doing his work..sincerely or atleast trying to learn on the job.
Yes, he did not have anyone to be called a friend, he used to have his breakfast and lunch alone, he spoke less...but no one has a right to brand him ajeeb.

We have exchanged a smile and a few here and there talks. That was the only conversation we had in a few days..dat's all..

I feel, he was just alone...within himself.

He did need a friend..someone to talk to, someone to share his lunch with, someone to smile at him, to guide him...

He needed someone to bring him out from his reserved nature.
Wonder y people do not attempt to do this. No one is different from anyone.
All are the same, with the same basic needs and requirements of a social warmth.

Y do people hesitate to put their hands forward for someone but do not hesitate to pass rude comments or make judgements about anyone without knowing him in the first place??

Y don't people just behave like good humans or at least normal beings??

I would prefer to call those who do not give someone a chance or lend a warm hand as ajeeb rather than label that silent guy as ajeeb...

Who has the right???

India is a democratic country and we shall use all our rights to the fullest. True..

But it's better when these rights are used only within the individual space.
Who has the right to interfere in other's business? Who has the right to make judgements and pass comments about others?
How can one point fingers at others when he himself is not true?
How can the customer abuse the supplier for a quality issue if he himself does not believe in providing quality to his consumers and his only agenda is to maximize his profit by supplying low standard products?
How can the air-passenger complain that the airline has no respect for his time, wen he himself keeps his people waiting intentionally?
How can the company expect its employees to deliver to the fullest and give profit when it itself does not give the employee its due share-be it reward or recognition?
How can the auto-passenger argue and bargain with the rickshawala for a one-rupee or two-rupee change issue when he himself cheats in handy transactions?
How can one talk about controlling vehicle-pollution when he himself smokes and pollutes the enviornment?
How can you talk about stopping people from other states from entering our state, when your children and people earn a living abroad?
How can people complain about the unclean trains when they do not follow the manners of using the dust-bins or their bags?
How can we complain about a wrong government and the politicians when we are the ones to choose them?

Wish each one knew and exercised his responsibility, things would be much better.

Wish people knew that- Jiske ghar sheeshe ke hote hain, voh doosro ke gharo par patthar nahi phainka karte.

D wait

Wait...
How many times we wait for something we do not want to??
We wait for the bus.
Wait for the train.
Wait for d BF/GF to show up.
Wait to grow up.
Wait to be independent.
Wait to get some sleep( Kambakth neend nahi aati)???
Wait for time to pass.
Wait for the cute girl or cute boy to smile at u.
Wait for the day to end.
Wait for the pain to go-away.
Wait for India-Pakistan peace to take place some day in the century.
Wait to speak up.
Wait to get even with dat slimy colleague who doesn't have the guts to talk upfront.
Wait for the fight to get over.
Wait for the start of a relation.
Wait for the end of a relation.
Wait to get inside the next crowded bus or train.
Wait for the teeny increment.
Wait for the heart to heal.
Wait for things to get alright.
Wait for things to happen.
Wait to do something for ourselves.
Wait to do something for the society.
Wait to get up and get out.
Wait for the wait to get over...and a many more waits...
In d end, isn't wait just a mark of Hope?
or is it just being laid back?
As i had said once- Patience is just a way of passing time...wot say?

I am an Indian!

Just received this just another forward. But loved it...

Serious joke....(literally)

AN AMERICAN VISITED INDIA AND WENT BACK TO AMERICA
WHERE HE MET HIS INDIAN FRIEND WHO ASKED HIM

HOW DID U FIND MY COUNTRY

THE AMERICAN SAID IT IS A GREAT COUNTRY
WITH SOLID ANCIENT HISTORY
AND IMMENSELY RICH WITH NATURAL RESOURCES.

THE INDIAN FRIEND THEN ASKED

HOW DID U FIND INDIANS??

INDIANS??
WHO INDIANS??
I DIDN'T FIND OR MEET A SINGLE INDIAN
THERE IN INDIA.

WHAT NONSENSE??
WHO ELSE DID U MEET IN INDIA THEN??

THE AMERICAN SAID

IN KASHMIR I MET A KASHMIRI
IN PUNJAB A PUNJABI
IN BIHAR, MAHARASTRA, RAJASTHAN, BENGAL,TAMILNADU, KERALA
BIHARI, MARATHI, MARWADI, BENGALI, TAMILIAN, MALAYALI

THEN I MET
A MUSLIM,
A HINDU
A CHRISTIAN,
A JAIN,
A BUDDHIST

AND MANY MANY MANY MORE

BUT NOT A SINGLE INDIAN DID I MEET

THINK HOW SERIOUS THIS JOKE IS

THE DAY WOULD NOT BE FAR OFF WHEN INDEED WE WOULD
BECOME A COLLECTION OF NATION STATES AS SOME
REGIONAL ANTI-NATIONAL POLITICIANS WANT ....

FIGHT BACK -

ALWAYS SAY I AM INDIAN

Jai Hind!

Now this is not a joke ..rather it is a Bhaddaa mazaak...upon us..as this is exactly what the foreigners see us as..separate, ununited...
that's bad..moreso because this will not change in many years to go...

Ganapati Bappa Morya!

Om Shree Ganeshaye Namah!
Well...Have been waiting to write my blog since a long time...
It seems it had to be today..today...which happens to be the 5th. day of Ganesh Chaturthi...
Our colony's Ganapati left today. Glad dat i cld make it on time to have a last look at him.
It is such a different feeling..all the devotees surrounding the vehicle in which the Lord is kept..some singing, some dancing, some just looking at the Lord...with sooo many things to say..yet can not...The heart says it all..The Lord knows it all.
The tempo filled with excited kids...all joyous to have a trip to the nearest lake or the beach for Ganapati Visarjan..a mini picnic I must say.
But in d end..wen the moment of Visarjan comes...it is just a one-on-one conversation- the devotee and the Lord...with requests for fulfillment of wishes, for peace, for strength, for prosperity, for success, for love, for recognition, for jobs, for luck, for health, for wealth...
But the last request is unanimous..the request to Come early the next year...

Ganapati Bapaa Morya! Pudhchya Varshi Lavkar Ya!
